  When you love... 

Take a notebook. Now write down everything about love; it's characteristics, benefits, everything you can write as nobody is going to read it. Now observe carefully how much it matches with the concept you have learned from the mass media. The concept of love is being distorted by the media for getting benefits. There are so many myths regarding love. 

Myths about love

1. Love at first sight :When you talk about "love at first sight ",you are narrowing the meaning of love. You are talking about the outer beauty of a person which has nothing to do with the goodness of a person. It's so funny that if you see a beautiful statue standing on the road, you fall in love with it. That is all this myth is about. You love a person for his or her uniqueness,for his being as s/he is. You can't specify a particular reason why you love a person. You just love.You don't love a person for his appearance. You love a person as you know him, you understand him, you can feel what he feels, you are so open with that person that you feel there is no difference between the two. 
2. Love is painful :It is shown in the movies that you suffer for loving. But it gives us immense pleasure to a person. It is a feeling that has its essence in its existence. The person who loves get unlimited positivity. Love is like developing a positive attitude. Everything becomes so good, pleasant ,new and beautiful. The world is the same but you start looking at it in a different way. How such a lovely feeling can be painful?Love is never painful. It makes you complete and mature. 
3. Losing freedom in love:Some people think that they will lose their freedom in love. But it means you are not in love at all. If you are in love, you will enjoy belongingness more than freedom. Freedom exists in everything you do deliberately. When you are happy, you are taking your own responsibility, you are enjoying your freedom. But if you feel that you have lost your freedom, you feel a relation as a burden which you don't want to continue. 
4. Love has a destination :Love is a journey which has no destination. There is no such limit as you will reach and stop it. You learn new things day by day. Some people try their best to end the highest level of it. It's a misconception which leads some people to have goals in love such as having a sexual relationship or to marry. But it's not about that. 
5. Love fades away with time :True love increases day by day as you know the person, understand in a deep way. If you can't understand yourself over the years, how can you understand the other person in a short time period. It's a process that goes on. Love is not merely an emotion, it includes your mind to understand a person, to manage your relationship in spite of difference in choices and thoughts. 

When you love... 

Everyone on this earth love. It's a universal truth. Because love is not limited to a romantic relationship. It's a broad term. You love your hobbies, your dreams, nature, humanity, your family and many more things. Even the terrorists love their motives. That's why they easily kill themselves. But the direction of this love is wrong. Now think ,is it possible not to love? Even the most selfish person loves himself. 

Is there a person in the world who can claim that s/he loves nobody or nothing? Or one is never loved by someone. You ignore the little events happening in your life. You were even helped by a stranger. That is also a kind of love for the mankind. We do the things for animals, for the poor people, for whom we don't know and can be risky. Still, you do such things because your heart is full of love. Being a human, you can't restrict yourself. You spread love whenever you get a chance. 

You can be deceived by people you love. But you can't stop yourself from caring for them. You forgive people because you love. It's an essential part of life. Without love, there is no beauty in the world. But when we move away from our basic nature to love, it creates a disaster in the world. Life is still on this earth and the reason is "love".

Therefore, don't contaminate such a pure thing. Some people attempt suicide in the name of love. It's not love as love makes you strong enough to face even the worst. And when you kill yourself, you are killing the love.Love never teaches you to give up. So love.... But in its true essence.
